Only the top 31 athletes (ranked by World Taekwondo) in each of the 8 weight classes are invited to compete, plus one wild card from the host nation in each weight class (excluding the Final).

The World Taekwondo Rome Grand Prix 2026 will take place in the stunning setting of the Grand Prix Arena, located within the Foro Italico complex at Viale del Foro Italico – 00135 Rome.

The event will take place over four days, from Thursday, June 4, to Sunday, June 7, 2026.

The event is free and open to anyone who would like to attend live.

ON THE TRAIN

Those arriving in Rome by train can take a taxi or public transport.

• From Termini Station: take the metro A (direction Battistini) to the Ottaviano stop, exit Via Barletta. From here, take bus no. 32 (direction Saxa Rubra Station) to the De Bosis / Stadio Tennis stop.
• From Tiburtina Station: take metro B (direction Laurentina) to Termini. From Termini take the metro A (direction Battistini), get off at the Ottaviano stop, exit Via Barletta. From here take bus no. 32 (direction Saxa Rubra Station) to the De Bosis / Stadio Tennis stop.

BY PLANE

From Rome-Fiumicino Airport: take the train to Termini or Tiburtina.

• From Termini Station: take the metro A (direction Battistini) to the Ottaviano stop, exit Via Barletta. From here, take bus no. 32 (direction Saxa Rubra Station) to the De Bosis / Stadio Tennis stop.
• From Tiburtina Station: take metro B (direction Laurentina) to Termini. From Termini take the metro A (direction Battistini), get off at the Ottaviano stop, exit Via Barletta. From here take bus no. 32 (direction Saxa Rubra Station) to the De Bosis / Stadio Tennis stop.

From Rome-Ciampino Airport: take the bus (Terravision) to Termini at the exit of the arrivals terminal. Once in Termini take the metro A (direction Battistini) to the Ottaviano stop, exit Via Barletta. From here take bus no. 32 (direction Saxa Rubra Station) to the De Bosis / Stadio Tennis stop.

The event will be streamed live in its entirety on the Sportface channel, available on the Prime Video platform.

Inside the Foro Italico there will be several food and beverage outlets for a fee.
